Zeke Howell loathed shopping. Be it for clothing, furniture, or really anything else, he despised the whole process. Not exactly the concept of spending money, but it was mostly the people. Human interaction was not his greatest talent, and he often found himself weary after a day outside of his cozy abode. Zeke could get tired just thinking about being around strangers. It was a wonder he didn’t simply hire servants to do his shopping for him, but then again, that would require more human interaction. He thought about requesting Frieda to do the dirty work for him, but it was her day off, and always respected that. So here he was, shuffling up and down the sections of the morning market, trying to avoid idle chatter in any and every way, ignore questionable looks from strangers, and desperately hoping he might restrain his nausea despite the horrible fish smell that lingered in the air.
The “strangers” that surrounded him were men and women who, just like himself, ha

Raphael screamed and screamed and screamed...
He screamed, thrashed and all Leonardo could do was hold on to him, try to protect him from hurting himself in his fit. With every scream, the younger arched painfully against him, every single muscle taut and seizing.
Leonardo just held him close, sobbing in both relief and fear when Raphael's body finally gave in. He caught him when he collapsed, cushioning his fall when they both dropped to the floor.
And yet, Raphael didn't - couldn't – stop screaming, grinding his throat raw until his voice, too, gave up, reduced to little more than grating wheezes.
Then, finally, thankfully, even those tampered off to silence, until Raphael just laid bonelessly in his older sibling's arms, awkwardly catching his breath, his entire body quaking with exhaustion.
Only then, Leonardo dared to open his eyes again, blinking against the blurry wetness in them.
Raphael's own eyes were open, half-lidded and staring blankly at nothing, eyes lost in the sh

Zeke awoke to find himself lying on the floor. Face down against a white, cushioned material, he tried to figure out what in God’s name was going on. He attempted to move his arms, but they seemed oddly restrained. Zeke looked down with a startled gasp to find that his torso was encased in a beige straightjacket. The mattress-like material was the floor of a padded cell.
“What the-?” He managed, his breath quickening.
Dr. Howell scrambled to get upright, trying not to panic. Pressing his unbound feet against the flooring, he managed to push himself against the wall, and slide up enough to sit up straight. He tugged his arms against the confines of the sleeves, but to no avail. Zeke even attempted to gnaw at the buckles, which did nothing except hurt his teeth. Panic was beginning to set in, as he felt his heart going a full speed.
“Help!” he screamed, his last resort, “What’s going on?!”
Zeke tried to push himself up the wall and get on h

On Monday, Matthew went back to Dr. Mertens' office for his ECV. All weekend, all he did was watch YouTube videos of ECVs but no matter how the ladies in the videos said it wouldn't hurt, it looked like it did so he was happy Gilbert could join him for moral support. Gilbert was glad to go with him, especially since it meant that he would get to see another ultrasound of the baby.
When they arrived, Matthew was shaking but he swallowed his fear and went straight to the doctor when called.
"Welcome back, Matthew!" Manon said patting the bed on which they would do the maneuver. "I see you brought company. Gilbert, why don't you pull that chair over there up by the bed so you can be right with Matthew through this."
Gilbert nodded and carried the chair over. "This isn't going to hurt, right Doc?"
"Most likely not," Manon said as Matthew climbed onto the bed. "As I told Matthew, we relax the womb to make it easier. The needle though may hurt a little but after that, you should be fine."
